The
Ooty Taj Savoy Hotel is to be found in the middle in the 6 acres of green lawns and neglects the valley and the hills around the hotel. This is 150 years old building and it was one time a school for European children in Ooty. The gigantic wooden beams behind the roof were haul all the way from the palace of Tipu Sultan in the Srirangapattanam Singhur Ghat by elephants.
